Life
It's never too early -- or too late -- to think about life insurance. Marks Insurance Group services all types of people with ever changing needs.

Even if you're:

On your own for the first time

Just starting a family

Have quite a clan depending on you

Simply enjoying retirement

Life insurance can help provide monetary death benefits when you die to those you designate as beneficiaries -- say your spouse, children or siblings. But, life insurance can serve for more than just "death protection."

Some life insurance products combine death protection and savings. These products can be useful during your lifetime, not just after it. They can help you achieve your financial goals through death benefits should you die, and through cash value accumulation while you're alive which can help with college or retirement savings, and estate taxes.

Homeowners
Marks Insurance Group offers a full range of property insurance and services. When you're shopping for homeowners insurance, make sure that the policy you purchase will enable you to answer 'Yes' to the following questions:

 •  If your home and personal possessions were destroyed by fire, would you be able to rebuild?

 •  Could you afford to stay someplace else during reconstruction?

 •  Would you be able to replace many of your belongings with new items?

11 Jun 2008 ::: More Restrictions Possible for New Jersey Teen Drivers

New Jersey lawmakers are considering ways to further restrict teenage drivers in New Jersey.

A bill before the Senate Transportation Committee would apply an 11 p.m. curfew on 17-year-old probationary drivers. It would also only allow one teenage passenger in the car with such a driver.

David Weinstein of AAA Mid-Atlantic says the proposals are based on data showing more than a third of teen crashes happen after 11 p.m. He says the potential for a serious accident goes up when there are more teenage passengers.

Weinstein, who was on the governor's teen driving safety panel, says this is the first legislation from that group's comprehensive look at how to make roads safer.
